Apples

golden delicious apple
peeled, cored and medium dice

brown sugar

apple butter
optional but so good!

lemon juice

vanilla extract

cinnamon

of salt
Ice cream of choice
or whipped cream, for serving (I used salted maple ice cream!)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375ºF.
For the crumble, in a small bowl, mix together the browned butter and brown sugar.
Mix in flour, oats, cinnamon and salt until fully incorporated and crumbly.
In another small bowl, mix apples, brown sugar, apple butter, lemon, vanilla, cinnamon and salt.
Butter a small (individual size) ramekin, baking dish, or cast iron.
Pour apples into the baking dish and top with crumble.
Bake for 30-35 minutes until apples are soft and crisp is golden brown and bubbly.
Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
